My name is Dušan Nešić. The creative soul with a passion of creating things. Those two directions guided me into a software engineering career, with a side quest in photography, drawing, driving. I’m the founder of VelocityWorks, a software consultancy agency with a passion for perfection.

Get to know me, we have a lot to talk about 👇
Quite early in my life I learned that destroying toys just to see “What’s inside?” was a theme, no toy would survive longer than a few hours - quite expensive, right? But soon that destructive itch became an obsession to put it back together, and make it better, make it different. Then the school came, and with that - access to technology - a new obsession. How do we put those two in the same sentence? Software - easy. The first app I ever created was a Calculator in Visual Basic - whoa, it worked, I could’ve calculated simple math on it. The feeling of having something on my own computer, that I made myself, and it worked, it stuck with me to this day, it drives me, makes my hearth tick - the technology exists, how do I leave my footprint?! Overtime that grew into a full career, where I’ve worked with some amazing people and companies, made lots of friends and grew a lot as a person and as a professional.
Software Engineering
As I discovered I love creating things and I love technology, the only natural path for chasing my passions was to fully submerge myself into the career of a Software Engineer. This professional path allowed me to be surrounded by tech all day, while having that fulfilling feeling of actually having something made - and even more satisfying - used.
Photography and Drawing
As a creative person, I always wanted to express myself, show the world how I see it. Photography proved to be the perfect tool, allowing me to capture moments, showcase the moment from my own creative perspective, capture the exact essence of what I am seeing. While photography allowed me to capture reality distorted in my own way, Drawing allowed me to completely fantasise, completely get lost in the imaginary world, the exact opposite of the Photography.
Driving
Cars were an obsession since young age, memorising makes and models, and carrying a blue toy steering wheel wherever I went, imagining that instead of walking I’m actually driving. Fast forward to today, driving lets me explore the world, get to distant places and be free - while being absolutely therapeutic at the same time.
Open road - car - engine sound - open top - absolute bliss.
